St. Patrick's College is an independent Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition for young men. Religious Education and the nurturing of faith have privileged places at the College alongside the pursuit of excellence in academic and general education. The College aims to assist parents to educate their sons in keeping with its rich traditions and the College Mission Statement. Young men are generally accepted into the College in Year 5 or Year 7 with intakes in other years depending on vacancies. Interviews are generally conducted two years prior to the year of entry.

2018 - Closed
The enrolment process for Year 5 and Year 7 2018 has now closed. Interviews have been completed and letters of offer have been sent to successful applicants. To be placed on the waitlist for 2018 entry, please email the College's Enrolment Registrar.
YEAR 5 AND 7 2019 – APPLY NOW
Interviews will be held in for March 2017 for Year 7, 2019 and in August 2017 for Year 5, 2019.
To register your interest in applying for 2019 please complete an expression of interest as soon as possible. This will be followed by a request for a formal application.
If your son’s year level is currently a waitlist please still consider lodging an application. Family movement can occur across year levels so vacancies do arise from time to time. If your son is on our waitlist we will be able to contact you should a position become available.
Our waitlist is managed according to the following order of acceptance:
- Catholic sons of Old Boys
- Catholic at Catholic Schools
- Catholic at non-Catholic Schools
- Non-Catholic sons of Old Boys
- Non-Catholic Local Community
- All other applications

Through the generosity of our Foundation, the College offers a scholarship position in each year level. We are currently seeking applications for those students entering Year 7 in 2017. Applicants must be Catholic and currently attending a Catholic Primary School. Applications will be based on financial need and family circumstance, not academic or sporting ability. St. Patrick’s College does not offer sporting or academic scholarships.

Prospective families can register their interest in enrolling their son at the College by completing an Enrolment Interest Registration at any stage.
Upon processing your registration of interest, your son's details will be placed in the College database. Please note: the registration process is an expression of interest only and will not be considered an official application for enrolment.
Approximately two years prior to your nominated start year, the College will forward details and login credentials for completing an official Application for Enrolment. The application with require the uploading of your son's Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, most recent School Report and NAPLAN Test results. An administration fee of $100 will accompany the Application for Enrolment. This fee is non refundable.
Parents will be required to make an enrolment interview booking via our online booking system upon completion of the Application for Enrolment. The interview involves a more detailed explanation of the ethos and educational practices of St. Patrick's College and seeks a commitment to these practices.
Offers of places are made in May/June of that year (approximately 18 months before the year of entry). When insufficient enrolment places are available for prospective students, a waiting list will be created and families will be notified indicating their placement on the waiting list.
Parents accept the official offer of enrolment through our online system together with payment of the confirmation fee of $300. This fee is non-refundable.
Early in Term 4 of the year prior to your son's year of entry, an Orientation Evening is conducted for parents and students.
