College Support Groups

St Patrick's College encourages the involvement of its community through a variety of support groups. These groups support the varied aspects of College life. Parents are invited to participate in the following groups:

Cultural Support Group

The St Patrick's College Cultural Support Group is a friendly and energetic group of parents and friends who have a strong interest in the Co-Curricular Cultural activities of the College – Music, Debating, TheatreSports, Chess, Art Club, Film Crew, Technical Crew, College Musical and Junior Musical and our brand new Dance Crew.

The group provides ongoing support to the College Cultural program in the form of community involvement and fundraising, for the benefit and enjoyment of the current and future young men of St Patrick's College. Meetings are held twice each term to discuss current Cultural and fundraising events and make decisions regarding contributions to the College Cultural program.

We are always looking for more support. If you are interested in joining the Cultural Support Group, or even happy to occasionally assist with an event such as costume sewing bee, cooking BBQs for hungry students, or assisting with front-of-house, please contact culture@stpatricks.qld.edu.au.

Sport Support Group

The St Patrick's College Sports Support Group is an energetic, voluntary group, that is open to all parents and friends who have an interest in sport and supporting young sportsmen. The group provides ongoing support to the College sports program in the form of community involvement and fundraising, for the benefit and enjoyment of the current and future young men of St Patrick's College.

Meetings are held once a month to discuss current sporting and fundraising events and make decisions regarding contributions to the College sporting program.
