Volleyball is an exciting and challenging Olympic sport that demands a high level of physical ability and teamwork. St. Patrick's College enjoys growing success in Volleyball in the AIC competition and the various Volleyball Schools' Cup competitions around the nation. We have a strong “Big Team" ethos that strives to support all participants. Our student athletes continue to gain selection in representative teams from Metropolitan North, Queensland Secondary Schools, Volleyball Queensland, Australian Schoolboys and Australian Institute of Sport. Most importantly, our participants follow a pathway that enables them to develop personal qualities and physical skills within the sport whilst at St. Patrick's College.
Past student Adam White captained the Australian Junior Team and is also a member of Volleyball Team Australia, the national senior team that is ranked in the world top ten teams. Adam represented Australia at the recent Olympic Games and is presently living and playing in the Netherlands.
