Student Life

Cricket is a highly valued sport in Australian culture. This is reflected at St. Patrick's, where the game of Cricket is well respected and student participation high.

Students have the opportunity to be involved with Cricket on many different levels. College Cricket teams compete against other schools in the AIC competitions each Saturday from January to March. To further develop their cricketing skills and love for the game, students can represent St. Patrick's in the Brisbane North Junior Cricket Association's competition from September to December. The College nominates and supports cricketers to represent Metropolitan North and Queensland Secondary School Sport.

Cricket is one of the AIC team sports offered to students in Term 1 each year. Cricket teams train twice a week on weekdays and play match fixtures on Saturdays. Home matches are played at Curlew Park, Sandgate and St John Fisher College, Bracken Ridge.
