St. Patrick's College encourages the involvement of its community through a variety of support groups. These groups support the varied aspects of College life. Parents are invited to participate in the following groups:
Cultural Support Group
The Cultural Support Group assists and supports the Musical, Arts Evening, Showcase and Open Day, amongst other cultural events.

Sport Support Group
The St. Patrick's College Sports Support Group is an energetic, voluntary group, that is open to all parents and friends who have an interest in sport and supporting young sportsmen. The group provides ongoing support to the College sports program in the form of community involvement and fundraising, for the benefit and enjoyment of the current and future young men of St. Patrick's College. The Sport Support Group is involved in community activities such as assisting with the College socials, BBQ's at Curlew Park and social events such as trivia nights.
Meetings are held once a month to discuss current sporting and fundraising events and make decisions regarding contributions to the College sporting program.

Cricket Support Group
The Cricket Support Group supports the College's Cricket activities by assisting in the organisation of events, raising funds for further Cricket program development and maintaining strong parent support for the cricketers. This group meets the first Tuesday of each month in the Morrissey Staff room.
