During the cricket season our 1st XI cricketers supported Pink Stumps Day in support of Breast Cancer Research. The group raised in excess of $1000 with support from Mrs Lousie Olley and Mr Ryan Schultz. A message form the Pink Stumps Day organisation

"Hi St. Patricks,

What an amazing amount raised! Our sincere and heartfelt thanks for your amazing support.

It's only with the support of passionate and dedicated people like you that we can fund more McGrath Breast Care Nurses in the community, and truly make a difference to the lives of patients and their families experiencing breast cancer across Australia.

Best wishes
Prue"

A special thank you to our many parent and community helpers who volunteered to assist in the canteens during term one. The parent volunteer Sport Support Group require your assistance throughout the football and rugby season. Please offer your assistance while your son is completing their team warm ups at Curlew Park. If all parents all were able to assist for thirty minutes the massive job accomplished by Sport Support Group parent volunteers would be great reduced.

The Shorncliffe Shufflers are enjoying the cooler temperatures on Sunday mornings at present. Students and all community members are welcome to join the group for either a 30 or 60 minute run starting at 6.30am, meeting in the plaza. At present attendance by the older community members are outnumbering the students!
