Career and Tertiary Expos

Career and tertiary expos are a great resource for exploring career and course options. At these events, you can talk to representatives from universities, TAFE, private colleges, employers, and industry groups. These events are held throughout Queensland, usually during the first half of the year. Throughout the year, information will be shared with Year 10 – 12 students via REALM’s newsfeed advising of expos.

University Open Days

It is highly recommended to attend an open day event at the university (or universities) you wish to apply to for post-school studies. The open day gives you an opportunity to learn about the courses you are interested in. You can also check out the campus, the support services offered and social and cultural activities available. Open days usually occur between July and early September each year. Year 12 students will have university open days shared with them via the newsfeed on REALM throughout the year.
