On Saturday at Coops Tennis Centre, the St Patrick’s College Tennis Championships will be played. Many early rounds have already been completed with semi-finals and finals only being played. Good luck to the students still alive in the draw and a big thank you to the many students who participated in this year’s championships. Students should check their email to confirm times and opponents for Saturday. Parents and community are very welcome to attend.

A reminder that there is no AIC Basketball or Tennis fixtures this weekend. Round 4 of the competition resumes on Friday and Saturday 24 and 25 August against Marist College Ashgrove.

Term 1 2019 AIC sports organisation has begun. Students and parents will be soon required to sign on. A very early sign-on is required as our new sport of AFL begins, and our community is unsure of the numbers who may wish to sign on. Students will have an information session at school to explain the choices and expectations for 2019 Term 1. This information will be available to parents on Realm next week.

St Patrick’s Half Season Cricket is a subcommittee of the SPC Sport Support Volunteer Group. Half Season is not organised by the St Patrick’s Sport Department. The students compete in the Brisbane North Junior Cricket Association Club Competition October through to December. Kellie Jilani is going to coordinate again in 2018, however, she needs parents to assistance. Please contact Kellie on if you would like information regarding assisting the cricket group. Sign-on information has been sent via Realm notifications. The process is via MyCricket (link available on Realm notices).

SPC cricket helmets are now available for order. The Merchandise Store has helmets for sizing. Further information is available online at Belter Sports
