On Tuesday, as a community we commemorated Anzac Day with a ceremony on the waterfront. It was a significant event which is largely due to the location. Our special guest Mr Adrian Jager, spoke of the significance of Anzac Day and the values that we as a nation can be proud of. As in previous years we invited members of the local community which were well represented. Congratulations to our musicians, particularly Mitchell Bell who played the Last Post and Rouse at not only our own school ceremony, but at a number of ceremonies. It was so great to see the large number of students who attended the local Sandgate Anzac Day Ceremony on Wednesday. A special mention and congratulations to Year 10 student ,Jared Noble who spoke at Nudgee Retirement Home at their Anzac Day Mass. We have received fantastic feedback from the community on his speech.

Cashless Tuckshop

The transition to a cashless Tuckshop has been embraced by all. As of Monday 30 April 2018 no cash will be taken. All transaction will be via Student ID Cards or debit cards.

Shore 2 Gate

All money and sponsorship cards need to be handed into the main office by Friday 4 May. This will be the cut off day for prizes. Shore 2 Gate cards and money is slowly coming in but there is in a large group of young men who have not returned their cards or minimum contribution.

Good Luck

Good luck to all Chess, Rugby and Football teams for Round 1 against Villanova College. It is important that we all contribute to a positive environment that will enable the young men to show the pride and passion that they have in playing for their College in their respective sports.

Please remind boys that if, for any reason, they are not picked up after school, they should go to the Student Office or see a staff member for assistance and wait for a parent to arrive.
