To celebrate the end of the year, local Indonesian restaurant Mamaku hosted two Indonesian dinners for our Year 10 Indonesian students and our Indonesian Club students. Students enjoyed traditional meals such as sate ayam (chicken satay), rendang sapi (beef curry), ayam goreng (fried chicken), nasi goreng (fried rice) and for the brave, sambal (chilli sauce) while practising their Indonesian with the staff. This was a great boost for the Year 8 students in particular, who have just completed a unit on how to order food and drink at a restaurant. Terima kasih banyak Mamaku.
