During the Christmas holidays 5 staff and 22 students made their way across the Oceans to Italy. The group was rather diverse with students from Years 8 – 11 but they all mixed and engaged so well throughout the trip. We visited Rome, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Assisi, Padua, Florence and Venice. Sites such as the Colosseum, the Lambourgini Factory, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Gondolas on the Canals in Venice and the Vatican.

Pasta was the food of choice, Nutella was the spread, walking was the transport and clicking was the pastime. We thought that a few photos of our journey might now inspire others to consider the next trip in 2018.

Brother Chris was an incredible wealth of knowledge on all things historical, although his sense of time and map reading could be improved. He kept us in God's hands and he was well looked after by our young men who enjoyed his easy manner and sense of fun.

Thanks to all for the memories and look out for information on the Tour for 2018.
