Congratulations – Mitchell Bell

Mitchell Bell in Year 8 has just completed his fourth grade Australian Musical Examination Board exam where he received an Honours grade. It is extremely impressive for a student so young to be completing a fourth grade exam, so Mitchell is to be congratulated on his impressive result.

Mitchell has had a very impressive trumpet career already – he is currently first trumpet for the South East Queensland Symphonic Wind Band at Bracken Ridge, a member of the SEQSW Big Band and is also a member of two St Patrick’s College Bands. He has been invited to play the Last Post for many local ANZAC Day services, including Sandgate RSL’s ANZAC Day Service which was attended by over 5000 people. In October 2015 Mitchell was invited by Dan Keighran – Australian VC recipient – to play the Last Post and the Reveille at an Australian Army fundraiser for Homeless Veterans, Exercise Stone Pillow.

Congratulation to Mitchell on his achievements.
