Chess Club News
Chess Club News - Mr Scott Little - Chess Club Coordinator (firstname.lastname@example.org)
This year has seen a huge resurgence in Chess at St. Patrick's College. The introduction of the Year 5, 6 and 7 students has been a breath of fresh air and has built incredible team spirit.
Our Chessmen have finished off an awesome season with a resounding win over St Edmund's College. Our Intermediate and Junior teams had an outstanding year and the future looks extremely bright.
Under the brilliant tutelage of our coach, Mr Mark Stokes, our younger players blossomed and have picked up some new moves that will see them only improve their games further.
Thank you to all of the young men who put their hands up to be Chessmen in 2015. Your dedication and commitment to training and attendance at games as either a player or supporter was greatly appreciated. Keep practicing and look out for updates about Term 3 Chess Club.

Youth Theatresports News
Theatresports News - Mr Adam McPhee - Theatresports Coordinator (email@example.com)
The Year 11 theatresports team took to the stage at North Lakes State College last Tuesday evening, competing in the Youth Theatresports Quarter Finals. The team fought hard to stay in the competition, however they were defeated by Southern Cross Catholic College and North Lakes State College. The Mighty Cheese team represented the College with pride and should be proud of their efforts in making to the quarter finals and defeating around 40 other teams in the process. Many thanks to Callum Butkus and Jonathon Ricks for their time, effort and expertise in training the team throughout the term.
As the Theatresports season comes to an end, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the coaches: Duncan Moir, Jonathon Ricks, Callum Butkus, Marthy Watson and Liam Spargo for their continued support of Theatresports at St. Patrick's College. Thank you to Geoff Samuels for welcoming me into the Culture family and to Carmel Moir for her organisation and administration throughout the competition. Finally to the young men who worked diligently throughout the term to take part and represent the College.
Best of luck to our Year 12 theatresports team; Matthew Southwell, Jesse Cooper, James Anderson, Fionnagan McBride and Lachlan Hogbin as they move into their final semester of secondary schooling.
I look forward to the 2016 competition.
