From the Dean of Identity
By Mr Paul Corfield
Christmas Hamper Drive 2026
Our annual Christmas Hamper Drive is now underway, providing our College community with an opportunity to put faith into action and share the spirit of Christmas with those who may be experiencing hardship.
As a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition, we are called to live the Touchstones of Justice and Solidarity and Inclusive Community by responding generously to the needs of others. Through this appeal, we are invited to stand alongside members of our wider community and help ensure that local families can experience the hope, dignity and joy that Christmas brings.
We warmly welcome donations of new gifts, toiletries, festive items and non-perishable food. Contributions can be delivered to your House Dean's Office, the Identity Offices, or provided through Tutor Group collections coordinated by the Waterford Waiters and Men of Morven.
All donated items will support the Christmas appeals of the Redcliffe Breakfast Club, Sandbag Community Centre, and the St Vincent de Paul Society, organisations that work tirelessly to assist vulnerable members of our community.
Collections will close on Tuesday 17 November.
Every contribution, no matter how small, has the potential to make a significant difference. Thank you for your generosity and for embodying the values of compassion, justice and service that are at the heart of our Edmund Rice tradition.
