Captains and Old Boys Breakfast Returns in 2026
St Patrick's College is delighted to once again welcome Old Boys and former student leaders to the annual Captains and Old Boys Breakfast, to be held on Thursday, 8 October 2026.
Following the overwhelming success of last year's gathering, the event will bring together members of the College community to reconnect, share stories, and celebrate the friendships, leadership, and lifelong connections forged at St Patrick's College.
This year, the invitation has been extended to include former House Captains, recognising the significant contribution these student leaders have made since the introduction of the Vertical House System in the late 1990s. House Captains have long played a vital role in fostering College spirit, supporting their peers, and helping to build the strong sense of community that remains a hallmark of the College today.
The breakfast will be held in the Waterford Building on Pier Avenue, Shorncliffe, with guests invited to arrive from 6:45am for a 7:00am commencement.
Attendees will enjoy a complimentary breakfast and hear from special guest speaker Bren Arkinstall (Class of 1996), CEO of the Edmund Rice Foundation Australia. Bren will share reflections on his journey from St Patrick's College student to community leader, offering valuable insights from both his personal and professional experiences.
The College warmly encourages as many Old Boys, former College Captains, Vice Captains and House Captains as possible to attend. Alumni are also invited to spread the word among former classmates and friends, helping to make this celebration of St Patrick's history and community even more memorable.
We look forward to welcoming our Old Boys and past student leaders back to St Patrick's College as we celebrate the remarkable friendships, achievements, and leadership journeys that began within our College gates.
