Do the College offer a Music program? What if my son is more interested in the Arts than Sport?
Music is a very important part of St Patrick's College and it is encouraged and nurtured at all levels. All Year 5 and Year 6 students receive instrumental Music lessons as part of the class Music program, with instruments part of the all-inclusive fee structure. Students in other year levels are able to access subsidised instrumental Music lessons and we have more than 200 young men taking part in our instrumental or vocal lessons, various ensembles, orchestras, choirs and bands.
St Patrick's College takes a holistic approach to education and as a result students are supported in their participation across both Sport and Cultural programs. Chess clubs, Theatresports, Debating and Music programs all boast large numbers of participants, with the Paddies' Battalion student supporter group regularly spectating and cheering men on in these Cultural pursuits.
