Traffic Management & Transport

Safety First

A significant number of students are dropped off and collected by car. We ask families to place safety ahead of time and to be considerate of our neighbours. The most convenient places for the drop off and collection of students by car are in Pier Avenue and next to the park in Signal Row. We ask that parents avoid the front of the College in Park Parade due to the pedestrian crossing, and also to avoid Twamley Lane due to the narrow nature of this residential street.

Other Transport Options

Many students travel by train to Shorncliffe station, which is a short 500m walk from the College. The students are directed to walk a specific route from the station to ensure safety and convenience for everyone.

The College is serviced by a number of buses operated by Thompson Buses and Hornibrook Buses. These arrive and depart in Pier Avenue or Yundah St, directly outside the gate of the College. The College, through Red and White buses, also operates two more local bus services. For full details of this service please click here ».

For those students wishing to ride their bicycle to school, a number of safe bike racks are provided.
