Compliance Officer

The role of the Compliance Officer is to have primary responsibility for the overall implementation and maintenance of the College’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), compliance and incident management programs and regulatory reporting. The role holder will also be expected to work closely with the Deputy Principal and with the College Leadership Team (CLT), the WH&S Committee and our front-line staff to act as a change agent to continue to develop a risk and compliance culture. In addition, the Compliance Manager will also assist in supporting the development and implementation of human resource initiatives and systems by providing support on HR policies and procedures

St Patrick’s College, Shorncliffe is currently in the process of establishing ERM and Compliance Programs in line with the International Risk Management Standard ISO AS/NZ 31000 and the International Compliance Standard AS/ISO 19600, together with a policy management platform which will ensure that all policies are maintained up-to-date and readily available to staff.

The College has implemented a Governance Risk & Compliance software program (CompliSpace Assurance) through which it captures and links risks, compliance tasks and incidents (such as complaints and injuries) allocate them to responsible individuals and develop structured reporting systems to enhance the decision-making processes of the College Leadership Team as well as Heads of Department and other staff.
