St Patrick's College, Shorncliffe Year 12, 2007
Congratulations QCS students : You have fought the good fight!
Dear QCS participants and O.P. eligible students
The provisional results from Qld Schools Authority arrived late Monday night. You have given the College a treble. You, cohort of 2007 are now the best St Patrick’s QCS group ever, but not by much. (We still think Daniel Meehan’s group of 2006 was great too!) Look at “that” graph below and congratulate yourselves.

The fine detail is 2006 scored 182.5 and now 2007 have scored 182.75. A great relief for us at the College and no doubt for you all. The effect of this graph on your estimated OP scores is dynamic. Your group of 69 students has shaved 149 OP points off your collective scores. The median student is at least an O.P. 10 with an OP 9 not totally out of question. St Patrick’s have not been in this territory before.
Please speak to Mrs Van Heer if you wish your updated O.P. estimate. We hope they are a realistic guide to the results you receive in the week before Christmas.
Congratulations. St Patrick’s thanks you again for your wonderful example and wholehearted spirit in this interesting game!
(Mr) Greg Quinn with Dr Michael Carroll and Mr Chris Mayes.
