 Junior School Curriculum

A unique characteristic of St Patricks's College Junior School is that students have inreased access to the variety of facilities and specialised teachers that come with an integrated Year 5 - 12 campus.

Students have the opportunity to study Design Technology (Year Seven), LOTE (Indonsesian), Drama, Art, Physical Education and Music through specialist teachers. This enables a more effective and efficient transition for the students into Middle Schooling.

Key Learning Areas in the Junior School are:

  • Religious Education
  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Study of Society and the Environment
  • Science and Technology
  • Physical Education and Health
  • The Arts (Art, Drama and Music)
  • Indonesian
  • Outdoor Education
  • Information Communication Technologies

Students with special needs are provided with support. This support can be individual support for some lessons each week as well as assistance with particular learning tasks. Students with needs in the reading/writing area are assisted by Parent Volunteer Tutors.
